Sorry, Poeteers, it’s been a while. I’ve been busy with all sorts of unrelated silliness. I’ve badly neglected more pertinent silliness. Like this stuff.
But fear not. Here’s something to cheer you up. (Perhaps.) A rhyme about a rather bloodless gentleman. Who lives on Dreary Lane.
Here’s another silly rhyme, this one featuring a vain creature called a Boople. What, you may ask, is a Boople? Search me, although there’s certainly a hint right there in the poem.

On February 7th, Blossom Dearie died at her home in Greenwich Village, aged 82. I’ve been a fan for a long time and though I never had the opportunity to see her perform live — man, I would’ve liked to.
